David Crawford

Administrator

David has been the School Administrator since 2008. His desire for LCS is to see it grow and to carry out our founder, Bishop Peters dream to provide a place where parents can allow their children to receive a Christian based education.

David is a big supporter of our youth athletics and you can find him running the clock at all the home basketball games during the season.

David believes strongly in the success of LCS as both of their children are LCS Alumni and work daily to improve the lives of the students, parents, and staff members.

Donna has been the Secretary for LCS since 1997. She is very dedicated to LCS and has a passion for serving the students and teachers. She works to ensure the school runs properly, the students and teachers have all the necessary supplies.

Donna helps keep parents informed and up to date with current events via the "Knightly News” weekly newsletter she publishes or student-lead "Knight Rider” Newspaper, which she oversees. Donna is the heart and soul of our school.

Meagan is an LCS alumni who graduated with honors in 2003. She is married with 2 children currently attending our school. Meagan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology from Walter’s State and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Meagan works for the Media Dept at Lighthouse Church on their livestream broadcast and social media team.

Meagan and her husband Joe Tedder are the PTSO Presidents and run the LCS sports concessions.

She has worked as both Kindergarten teacher and a lower level teacher and taught a middle school Reading Class. She began teaching high school 6 years ago and specializes in Science and Social Studies. She also teaches Literature to 9th-12th grade and encourages critical thinking in preparation for the ACT exams, which are administered to our 1th-12th grade students each fall. Meagan works to ensure the high school students will be prepared for college and life after Graduation.

Susie has been a teacher at LCS for over 15 years. She is married with three children who are LCS alumni and has 5 grandchildren who attend LCS. Teaching is her passion and it shows in the improvement children make during the first few weeks of having her as their teacher. She works tirelessly to ensure each child has their educational needs met.

At Lighthouse Church, she has been a Sunday School Teacher, assisted with Vacation Bible School, and kept nursery.

We are very thankful to have Susie on staff. She has taught all ages from Kindergarten through 8th grade but has recently called our Middle School Class home. Susie places an emphasis on reading, geography, and the importance of volunteering throughout the year by expanding the curriculum to enrich the student’s learning environment.

Nicole has two children who attend LCS and has worked as the 2nd-5th grade monitor for two years. She brings a rich portfolio of experience from her years homeschooling her own children. Nicole volunteers at church and is a wonderful woman with a Godly heart.

Nicole helps students transition from the Little Level to a more traditional classroom setting and helps prepare them for middle school. Her students learn to do science projects, book reports, and essays on their level to make this a fun and rewarding elementary school experience!

Nicole focuses on balancing PACE work with hands-on learning projects and play for an overall enriched curriculum program.

Pam has experience teaching all ages from Kindergarten through 5th grade but has found her passion in the LCS Little’s Class. Pam has long been a part of the LCS family since she, her husband, and her children are all LCS alumni!

At Lighthouse Church, Pam’s husband Bryan heads up the security team, and Pam assists where needed. They love working with children and have a desire to keep our school children safe. Pam has also helped throughout the years with Vacation Bible School and Sunday School.

Pam specializes in hands-on activities for the students, including arts and crafts, music, and fun play days to ensure her students are instilled with a love of learning!

Sarah has always had a heart for children and a desire to work with them. She worked in the nursery and preschool at Christ Fellowship Church for four years. She graduated from a small church school called Mountain Empire Baptist School in 2006. After graduating Sarah began looking for her forever career. She worked as a crew trainer, then moved to manager at McDonald’s for 7 years. While there, she met and married her husband, Steven Osborne. The two have been married for ten years and have two dogs. Sarah worked at a medical office as a receptionist for 5 years. Then, finally, she moved to the Kingsport City School system as a School Nutrition substitute. Sarah began working at LCS as Middle Level monitor in 2020. She fell in love with LCS and has found her calling. She has been with LCS for 3 years.
